Lolo Hot Springs Resort - Day-use fee or pay-per-soak in Lolo, MT (2026)
Indoor and outdoor pools sit along US-12 at the crest of Lolo Pass, doubling as a base for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and Bitterroot National Forest hikes.

Lolo Hot Springs day pass covers both pools — one indoor, one outdoor — cooled to 100-104°F from a 117°F natural source at the crest of Lolo Pass on US-12. The resort sits on the Continental Divide road between Missoula, Montana and Lewiston, Idaho, open year-round as both a soak destination and the main base for the Bitterroot National Forest's snowmobile and cross-country ski network. A small restaurant, motel, RV sites, and a saloon round out the operation. Cell service is essentially zero on the pass — print directions and bring chains November through April.
What to expect
Pull off US-12 at the resort entrance (about 33 miles west of Missoula). $15 day soak, no reservations needed. Two pools, casual locker rooms, the on-site restaurant for burgers and beer. The motel rooms are simple but functional. Most overnight guests are snowmobilers in winter and Lochsa River whitewater paddlers in summer. Pair with the Lewis and Clark interpretive sites along US-12 east into Idaho.
