Symes Hot Springs Hotel & Mineral Baths - Day-use fee or pay-per-soak in Hot Springs, MT (2026)
Art Deco-era bathhouse anchoring the town of Hot Springs with a kidney-shaped soaking pool, private clawfoot tubs, and mineral-rich waters along the Flathead Reservation.

Symes Hot Springs Hotel & Mineral Baths is the historic Art Deco bathhouse in the small Flathead Reservation town of Hot Springs, Montana — a 1930 stucco-and-tile structure that's run continuously as a soaking and lodging operation since opening. The kidney-shaped main soaking pool, several individual clawfoot tubs in the original bathhouse, and a 1930s hotel above the pool deck make it the most historically intact hot-springs operation in northwestern Montana. The town is small (population ~600) and the hotel essentially is the town. Live music on weekends, a quirky community feel, and $12 day soaks (one of the cheapest in the West).
What to expect
Drive into the town of Hot Springs (about 90 minutes north of Missoula). Hotel/spa is at the town center. $12 day soak gets you the kidney pool and the bathhouse common areas. Private clawfoot tubs are bookable separately. Hotel rooms ($75-125, varies by season) are vintage-charming, not luxe. Restaurant on-site for casual meals; the small downtown has a few additional options. Live music in the hotel saloon Friday-Saturday nights.
